South Dalmatia Route

Important: The listed routes are our recommendations. Always follow the weather forecast for boaters and use plotter and navigation charts!

DAY ONE

Trogir – Pakleni Islands (Island of Hvar, ACI Marina Palmižana, 25 NM)

  • Spend the day swimming and enjoying the Pakleni Islands, located in front of Hvar. Choose from many beautiful bays for berthing or anchoring.
  • Visit the restaurant “Zora” in Vinogradišće Bay on the Pakleni Islands.
  • Overnight stay at ACI Marina Palmižana, situated in a picturesque bay surrounded by pine trees and crystal-clear waters.
  • Visit the town of Hvar by taxi boat from the marina (approximately a 5-minute ride). The city of Hvar also has a gas station.

DAY two

Pakleni Islands – Korčula (Island of Korčula, 35 NM)

  • Spend the day swimming near the town of Korčula on the beautiful islands of Badija.
  • Overnight stay at ACI Marina Korčula (berth reservation required).
  • Explore the enchanting town of Korčula, rich in history and tradition. Discover the stone city, ornate facades, and cobbled streets.
  • Attractions include the Korčula Baroque Festival, Marco Polo exhibition, St. Mark's Cathedral, Town Museum, and more. A gas station is located in the city's port.

DAY three

Korčula – Dubrovnik (47 NM)

  • Swim on the island of Šipan and dine at the restaurant “Kod Marka” in Šipan Luka.
  • Visit the islands of Lopud and Lokrum. Lokrum features a historic monastery and a rich botanical garden.
  • Overnight stay at ACI Marina Dubrovnik, located north of the city in Mokošica or in Gruž Bay. Gas stations are available in both ports.
  • Visit the historic city of Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979.

DAY Four

Dubrovnik – Pomena (Island of Mljet, 20 NM)

  • Swim in the beautiful bay of Port Sapunara, with the option to berth to a buoy and stay overnight.
  • Visit Mljet National Park, known for its colorful wildlife and lush forests. Explore the Odysseus cave and the rock of St. Paul.

DAY five

Pomena – Island of Lastovo (20 NM)

  • Discover Lastovo Island, inhabited for thousands of years and surrounded by 46 islets and reefs.
  • Swim around the many islets of Lastovo. Overnight stays are possible in Ubli (gas station), Skrivena Luka, or Zaklopatica, depending on weather conditions.

DAY six

Island of Lastovo – Vis (30 NM)

  • Sail to the island of Vis, one of the cleanest ecological areas in Europe.
  • Visit the bay of Stončica, tour the eastern side of Vis, explore the Budikovac islands, and visit the Green Cave on Ravnik.
  • Overnight stay in the city port of Vis. Recommended activities include visiting the Archaeological Museum and taking a military tour. Dine at the restaurant "Pojoda."
  • Visit the unique Štiniva bay, perfect for sightseeing, swimming, and photography. Explore the Blue Cave on the island of Biševo. Overnight stay in Komiža on the southwest side of Vis. Recommended dining spots are Tavern “Bako” and Tavern “Jastožera.”

day seven

Krknjaši Bay (Blue Lagoon) – Maslinica (21 NM)

  • Swim in the Krknjaši Bay (Blue Lagoon) on the island of Drvenik Veliki, known for its white sand and shallow depth.
  • Return to the base in ACI Trogir by 18:00.
