North dalmatia route

DAY ONE

Trogir – Primošten (25 NM)

  • On the way to Primošten, visit the bay of Stari Trogir (11 NM from Trogir) and enjoy the sandy lagoon.
  • Arrive in Primošten with the option to stay overnight in Primošten port or Marina Kremik (2 NM before Primošten).
  • Primošten is famous for its beautiful vineyards, one of which is displayed at the UN in New York. These vineyards are being considered for UNESCO heritage status.
  • The town is also known for its traditional donkey race held every summer and the Mala Raduča beach, one of the ten most beautiful Croatian beaches.

DAY two

Primošten – Skradin (18 NM)

  • Skradin, located 18 km north of Šibenik on the Krka River, has a rich history and is a favorite tourist destination of Bill Gates.
  • The town center is a protected monument, and the gathering of Dalmatian harmony-singers is a famous event held every first Sunday in August
  • Stay overnight in the ACI Marina, known for its brackish water, a favorite for wooden boats.
  • Visit the Krka National Park and swim under the stunning Skradinski Buk waterfall, the last and longest travertine barrier on the Krka River.

DAY three

Skradin – Murter (24 NM)

  • Swim in the sandy bay of Slanica and tour the islands near Murter.
  • Stay overnight in one of the marinas on Murter, a north-Dalmatian island covered with ancient olive trees and figs.
  • The locals are traditionally engaged in agriculture, shipbuilding, fisheries, and livestock farming.

DAY Four

Murter – Kornati Islands, Piškera (18 NM)

  • The Kornati Islands, an archipelago in central Dalmatia, consist of 150 islands and cover an area of 320 km².
  • Declared a national park in 1980, the park includes 89 islands, islets, and rocks.
  • Tour the Kornati National Park and swim in one of the many hidden coves.
  • Stay overnight at ACI Marina Piškera, known for its excellent cuisine and fresh seafood.

DAY five

Piškera – Kaprije (18 NM)

  • Tour the island of Žirje, known for its beautiful coves, indented coastline, and fertile fields.
  • Stay overnight on the island of Kaprije, a favorite destination for sailors, known for its clean air and peaceful environment.

DAY six

Kaprije – Maslinica (Island of Šolta, 28 NM)

  • Swim around the islands in front of Maslinica and enjoy the crystal-clear waters.
  • Option to berth to a buoy and dine at Šešula bay (0.3 NM away).
  • Stay overnight at the marina in Maslinica or on the buoy in Šešula bay (weather permitting).

day seven

Maslinica – Krknjaši Bay (Island of Drvenik Veliki, 2.5 NM)

  • Swim in the Krknjaši Bay (Blue Lagoon) on the island of Drvenik Veliki, known for its white sand and shallow depth.
  • Return to the base in ACI Trogir by 18:00.
